How the ranking is ordered
The order in this overview is set by one number — the RTP, or Return to Player. It is the theoretical return as a percentage, which the game maker calculates across millions of simulated spins. If a slot has an RTP of 96.5%, it means that for every €100 put in, on average and over the long run about €96.5 comes back to players. The rest is the operator's mathematical advantage.
We have included the catalogue titles with the highest declared values, ordered in descending order. For each game we also give the provider and the volatility, so that beyond the number itself you can see how the game behaves. Two games with the same RTP can, after all, offer a completely different experience.
All values come from the maker of the given game and were verified on 19 August 2026. They are not our estimates or marketing figures. If you are new to the term RTP, start with the article what is RTP, which explains it with simple examples.
Why high RTP is no win guarantee
The most common misunderstanding is that higher RTP automatically means more money won. It does not. RTP is a statistical average across a huge number of spins that no individual player will ever play out. In your session you can lose on a slot with 96.8% and hit a nice run on one with 95.7% — the short-term result is driven by chance and volatility, not by a decimal place in a table.
The difference between the first and last title in our ranking is about 1.2 percentage points, almost imperceptible over a single session. Much more influence over how you experience the game comes from its volatility: low brings frequent small wins, high brings rarer but potentially larger payouts.
So treat RTP as one of the parameters, not as a ranking of "games that pay". It helps to compare titles, but it does not guarantee the result. No slot offers sure profits and no one can predict an individual spin. How RTP and volatility relate is covered in the article understanding volatility.
The top of the ranking: values above 96.7%
The very top is four titles with RTP of 96.7% and above, and all share high volatility. This is no accident — a higher declared return often accompanies games where the value is concentrated in rarer but richer moments.
At the head stands Jammin' Jars from Push Gaming at 96.83%. It is a cluster slot on an eight-by-eight grid, where the jam jars work as a wild with a rising multiplier. Just behind it is Dead or Alive 2 from NetEnt at 96.8% — a western title famous for its very high volatility and three free-spin modes.
The pair is joined by Big Bass Bonanza from Pragmatic Play at 96.71% and its hold & win mechanic, where the fisherman collects money fish. Closing the quartet is Razor Shark, the second Push Gaming entry, at 96.7% with its Mystery Stacks feature beneath the surface. All four are titles for the patient — the main wins arrive in the bonuses, not on every spin.
The middle field: books and tumble slots
The middle of the ranking is the most densely populated part and groups together six titles with RTP between 96.4% and 96.58%. Two handwriting styles dominate here: adventure "book" slots from Play'n GO and cascade games from Pragmatic Play.
From Play'n GO you will find Legacy of Dead with an RTP of 96.58% and an expanding symbol in the free spins, as well as the cluster title Reactoonz at 96.51%, which adds quantum mechanics to the clusters. Pragmatic Play is represented by a trio at exactly the same 96.51% — the tumble hit Sweet Bonanza, the hold & win slot The Dog House with sticky wilds, and close by Gates of Olympus at 96.5% with its pay-anywhere mechanic.
The lower edge of this group is held by Money Train 2 from Relax Gaming at 96.4%, an elaborate hold & win with a bonus reel and persistent symbols. If one of these styles draws you in, explore the full studio profiles of Play'n GO and Pragmatic Play.
The lower section above the 96% mark
Even the titles in the second half of the ranking are not "worse" — they simply have a slightly lower declared RTP, yet still a respected value above 96%. It is precisely here that the greatest variety of volatility hides, so both the calm and the more adventurous player will find something.
The section opens with Book of Dead from Play'n GO at 96.21%, the benchmark of Egyptian adventure slots with an expanding symbol. It is followed by the three-reel Fire Joker at 96.15% with its wheel of multipliers, then the iconic Starburst from NetEnt at 96.09% — the only low-volatility title in the whole upper part, ideal for a longer and even session.
The 96% mark is still held by Wolf Gold from Pragmatic Play at 96.01% with its Money Respin mechanic, and Bonanza Megaways from Big Time Gaming at a flat 96%, the pioneer of the whole Megaways system with 117,649 ways to win. The differences in this group are decimal and in practice are overridden by each game's volatility.
Below the 96% mark and what follows
The ranking closes with two titles just below the 96% mark, which nicely illustrate why RTP alone is not enough for a decision. Gonzo's Quest from NetEnt has 95.97% and is a legendary slot with avalanches of falling blocks and rising multipliers — with medium volatility it remains accessible even to calmer players.
Right at the end stands the fruity Sizzling Hot from Novomatic at 95.66%. Despite its retro look, the maker assigned it high volatility, so it plays more aggressively than the classic graphics would suggest. The difference from the top of the ranking is about 1.2 points — in a single session practically invisible.
From this follows a practical conclusion: when choosing, do not look only at the position in the table. Consider whether you want frequent small wins or a tense bonus, what theme you like and what budget you will set. Summary and the slots bonus
A ranking by RTP is a useful map, but not a list of sure-profit games. The highest values are offered by Jammin' Jars, Dead or Alive 2 and Big Bass Bonanza, yet all three are among the more volatile titles. A calmer player will probably enjoy more at Starburst or Gonzo's Quest despite the lower number. What decides is the fit with your style, not a decimal place.
The slots in the catalogue qualify for the welcome offer Slots Bonus 500% up to €3,000 + 15% Cashback. It boosts your initial deposit and returns part of the amount lost as cashback, so you can spread the bonus balance over more spins. Whatever title you choose, treat the game as entertainment for adults aged 18 and over, not a source of income. Set a limit in advance and, if you need to, use the tools in the responsible gaming section.
